Nice wins HG! Some of mine can be read about at www.canadianpokerplayer.com if you're interested, as well as looking at older threads in the forum. There are threads of a lot of good finishes for a lot of posters here... Canadian poker is alive and well! To quote a t-shirt that Dave once mentioned he saw: "I'm Canadian and I defend my blinds" ;)

Regards,
all_aces

ps: That was an awesome hockey game. :canada:
i've had 2 small wins online, both at UB within a week of each other in late May......i didn't win a whole lot, but i tell ya, the feeling of finally winning a tournament after playing so many and trying to improve your play with experience...it feels damn good :).....and how small were they you ask? they were 1am 10+1 tournies with 77 people both times, and i won $242 each time

but it felt real good regardless, and i think it definitely helped my confidence a bit.....the most amazing part is that both wins were the first two times i ever reached a final table (what can i say, i had a habit of finishing just out of the money...i read a book strictly about tournies and it helped).....and after those 2 wins, even though i havent won since, i played a lot of tournies in June and had 1 2nd, 2 3rds and 2 4ths....quite nice to start making the final table semi-regularily

pales in comparison to winning a >1k in a single tournament like some of you, but i think its only a matter of time
Congrats! nice finishes! I am, uh, working on having the bell ring over here.
I guess this is what you had in mind harthgosh.

My biggest win to date.

A $22.50 award has been credited to your Real Money account.

Congratulations!
Thank you for participating.

used the cash to play in a $20+2 with 550 people and busted out 205th :) Took one brutal beat that crippled me.
That win was from back in April of 2004. I wasnt a member of the forum yet.

harthgosh wanted posts of nice money finishes so i dug up my big win.

Judging from the tournament # harths pot limit win was back in march. Thats why I decided to post my win.

I will look back at my hands from that win and post some here later.
