The opening was terrific! This is a player-friendly poker room. Nice table, professional dealer and staff, good quality cards and chips. Plenty of parking nearby. Good security. Drinks, snacks, sandwiches and even some hot food included.
Great mix of people there - well-known forumers included shopsy, prophet, blazin, folded, kristy, haddon, g2 as well as a few others.
Plenty of action. Folded gave a great demonstration of play with and against AA. First he somehow managed a chop against brent's flopped set of Aces with JJ when the board ended up A2345. (A very nice tilt-inducing hand.) Then both he and g2 "horribly" overplayed AA against J9 on a KQT (or was it QT8?) board and both got stacked. Then he pushed into my AA with 88 and went home all grumpy. He would be the large-mouth bass at the table. The 'b' is optional.
It was a fun game. I played like crap but it was a great night out. (I think Shopsy would be a crapper fish. :) )
