This event has been rescheduled for Sunday February 18th, 2007 at Philthys, all times the same as above. For those teams that need to practise their stud and omaha skills, every Sunday between now and then with the exception of the 21st of January, we have stud at 12:30 and Omaha at 3:30 as our regular game.

Team registration deadline is February 14th.

That poker tour is not very good at marketing, and it seems there are more teams so far from this forum than their own tour!

For those forum members who are playing is there any interest in getting a side pool together. The piranah thing has no entry to my knowledge and I"m willing to put the side pot together. If not we'll play for pride (which is always good too).

It's a bar tourney, right? Sounds like you get extra starting chips for buying drinks/food from the bar.

Please leave the name of this as Pirana Poker Olympics. Royal Cup 2 1/2 it is not.

Couldn't agree more, I vote that anyone referring to this in any way as a Royal or Ryder cup event should be banned forever! Since it's a free bar event it's really just that, a practice event, akin to play money.... :)

Given the Royal Cup III has been announced I doubt this would even qualify as 2 1/2.

But akin to play money given the forum teams entering I doubt. It should be a good warm up for the cup tho.

It's working now but I"ve had no further e mails after I registered my team. There seems to be no updates on their forum either. Just curious if anyone else has heard anything.
