I have A LOT of thoughts in my head regarding this little summer poker project of mine. This little first week of me playing has shown that I really need some place to jolt down my thoughts and proccess, so I'll make a thread for it. Maybe I can share something about mindset and goals or maybe I can learn something. I'll update with some content when I have time, just wanted to start by creating some framework, if you want to read what i share that's great and if you don't, that's fine to =P

First of all, what am I doing?
I am currently living the pretty simple life of trying to wake up in the morning, hit the gym, come back home and play poker. I'm planning to do this for the summer and as of now the plan is to withdraw my entire bankroll once my studies start again

How am I doing it?
Being a poor student I actually struck a deal with my rent money, there is full transparency and regardless I'm paying the around 580$ as delayed rent in the beginning of september. This means what I'm doing is not optimal and definitely taking a shot, think of that how you will but for me it helps with that little extra bit of motivation and be serious about this now feeling.
There's obviously always a possibility that I bust since i've decided this is taking a shot meaning I'm not gonna stop playing 5 dollar freezeouts even if my bankroll eventually suffers. Should worst come to worst I have 2 teaching jobs (substitute and online coach) waiting for me once school starts again so I guess I'll have to work extra for a month in that case, again everyone involved has accepted these conditions and is very supportive

Why am I doing this?
I havn't played poker in a while, I used to be kinda decent at it. Also I'm a dancer, that means I take a number of dance classes, these cost a lot of money and if I don't make money over summer it's very doubtful I'd be able to pay up 600 dollars for dance classes come autumn. Also I'm kinda bored =P
I'll say this again so people don't think I'm too crazy, this is a deal for me with full transparency, where the only things I stand to lose is time and free time come autumn because I have to work. Optimally I would have been accepted for some kind of summer job but this is arguably more fun albeit less profitable.
