Ding-ding, that's one of the rooms in Mohawk that's empty on a non-tournament day. There is a room at Woodbine, Brantford & other Ontario casinos that is even less used. The first non-troll member who correctly gives the full name of that room wins a choice of the following:
- I'll treat you to Willows Noodle Bar or the best chicken in Ontario (Southern Fried Chicken) at the next "Forumers' Orgy at Woodbine".
- If you think Woodbine orgies are rigged & refuse to go there, I'll buy you a drink instead at the next poker game I see you.

The great news for members like BIGBOB, Gottaget, EdtheTed, djgolfcan, etc. is that Mohawk is starting to experiment with my suggestion of having a Deep Stack tournament with a bigger prize pool while keeping the fee the same $10. This Saturday's tournament will be a $150+$10 Deep Stack with only 6% fee.
I had already booked a Fallsview hotel with my family again this weekend so I won't be able to make it. If you're one of those players that HATE getting 15,000 chips to play a LOT of hands for your money while paying only $10 fee, then skip this Deep Stack and join me at Fallsview for the hyper turbos instead:
- 1,500 chips instead of 15,000
- play less than 75 hands instead of > 200 hands
- $25 fee for the $235 & $245 satellites instead of only $10
- 15-minute blinds instead of 20 minutes
- up to $2,200 prize pool ($245 sat.) instead of $3,000.
Thanks for posting. I'll probably play that one. If I have a player's card from Woodbine, do I need to make a new card? Also, is there a way to pre-register? I feel like this could sell out with the cap at 20.
