In the $215 on Sunday lol

This is hilarious....

Played the $3 rebuy sat last night. Did fairly well
throughout, winning when I had to. Then it was down
to about 53 left, when I fell asleep. lmao
Apparantly I had enough chips to hold out (about
average stack) cuz when I woke up this morning it
said I'd qualified for the $215.

Is this what's known as sleeping your way to the top?

Actually it was a very long week at work, and the 2
Schmirnoff's I drank when I got home, and the small
pizza I ate, put me down like a turkey dinner. hehehe

  • Well now you're forcing me to abandon my normal lurking status. :)

I take it you play as DJEP. I wasn't the happiest person in the world after this hand last night.

Oh well. At least you put my chips to good use. :D

(It's scary how sometimes hands stay with you. I recognized your name immediately after reading your post this morning.)
  • Sorry about that one bud. Outdraws have happened to me too
many times to count, so don't feel bad. As you can see, I
was low on chips then. I think average stack was about
    twice what I had. I'd mucked about 4 or 5 ace/rag combos
before that play. Either out of position, or against strong
raises. I was actually getting fed up (no pun) at that
point. I think I even said "fxxx it" out loud, as I pushed
it all in. I was hoping to see Kx against me, not Ax. I do
believe it was the only outdraw I had in the whole tourney.
At least in my favour. Sorry it had to be you.
  • No reason to be sorry about it. We've all been on both ends many times. I just thought it was funny that the first thing I though when I read your post is, "Hey! Is that the guy from last night?"
  • I recognized your name too, but couldn't place it. (it must
    have been all that lurking)

Kinda sucks when we have to win against other members though.
  • I shoulda slept through this one too. 3300+ entries, out in 1600ish

3300 can ya friggin believe it? lol I remember when you'd see only 600-700 on sunday
  • ...quite a few Canadians (Torontonians) left in the top 100 as we speak...
