I busted just around 68th..... had 14 bb and had KQhearts on the button. One caller it gets around to me and I raise 3x, small blind calls , big blind folds and other caller calls.

small blind bets out half pot other guy shoves all in , i call and small blind calls.
Small blind had pocket queens and other guy had Ad8d.
so....... I totally get the small blind calling, makes perfect sense to me. But..... the other guy shoving with A8d... WTF ?

Well done Pimp. At least you came out ahead. I wasn't too far behind you - I busted out around 55th or thereabouts. Started after the first break with a decent stack of almost 19000 (average was around 13000). First hand after break I lost 1/3 of my stack when the short stack shoved his last 6400 and I called with QQ. He turned over AT and spiked his A on the turn. Didn't get any better after that and my last shove (~ 5BB) had my Ad5d up against KTos. Flop came AQx and of course J on the turn sealed the deal for me.
