this really sucks. for me this was the shortest drive for live tournaments. Rama and Port Perry take me over 90 mins to get to and I don't enjoy the drives.
Hope they eventually put live tables at Woodbine. That would be ideal.
Correct their tournaments are decent, but not for Canadians. Problem is the withhold 30% of any winnings and it's not net of buyin.
In other words if the buyin is $100. then you win a minimum payout of $140. they keep $42. making you a net loser of $2. That doesn't even include rake, so it makes it very hard if not impossible to overcome both rake and withholding.
Border is not an issue assuming you have a passport and no record.
