The WSOP has made the Seniors Event re-entry, which is the stupidest one to infect with that terrible virus, as it is older players that hate full-rake re-entry the most. :arghh:

My friends and I will avoid Lost Wages with the new strip-wide parking fees, resort fees, 35% more Canadian dollars for expenses, and last but not least, 30% taxes. Does anybody want to go with us to any of the following:
- PokerStars Panama, Macau, Monaco or Barcelona
- Irish Poker Open
- WPT DeepStacks Calgary or Edmonton.
Guess I'll be skipping the WSOP Senior for certain in 2017. The revised structure sucked in 2016; making it a single re-buy doesn't help things any. I'll look forward to better options like the Wynn, V, PH and Aria Seniors.
You, compuease, Animaux, DirtArse and I have all played WSOP Seniors along with several of my friends the past couple of years, but I don't think any of us will be playing in 2017.

February 12, 2017: Playground Poker Club, Canada, January 29 - February 15; $145.50+$19.50, 11.8% rake, FREEZEOUT; $15,000 Gtd, 20,000 chips, 20-minute levels. This is the fourth Seniors at PG in less than 12 months. :h:
February 14: Dublin Poker Festival, February 10 – 19; €230, 20,000 chips, 40 min.
March 12: PokerStars Championship Panama, March 10-20; $291+$39, 11.8% rake, 10,000 chips, 20 min.
March 30: WSOP-C Rozvadov, Czech Republic, March 23 - April 8; €250.
April 2: Irish Poker Open, March 27 - April 4; IO Seniors (5 pm, €250+€25, 15K).
April 2: PokerStars Championship Macau, March 30 - April 9; HK$4,400, 10,000 chips.
Going June 10-17 with a few friends. Will be my first wsop and 2nd trip to Vegas. Playing the millionaire maker, and if unsuccessful, going to try and sat into the marathon.
Booked this year's "WSOP" trip. I'll be there June 7-18. As usual the first few days are a vacation with the better half. The poker party starts June 11. Now that the structure sheets are available for the WSOP I'm pretty sure I'll be skipping this year's Senior (unless I have exceptional success in earlier tourneys and feel like pissing away $1000). The structure for the Senior is the same as last year, which means it's pretty much a shove fest from the get-go (except that you can choose to double your pain with the re-entry). Hopefully the other Senior tourneys will be run consistent with last year's schedule (pretty much throughout the week I'm there).
The Venetian's DSE III schedule is available. Looks like another pretty solid list of tourneys. For all those old fogies out there, the V Senior event starts Tuesday, June 13 with two day 1's. Structures aren't up yet but I expect they'll be similar to last year's, which means pretty good value. Just booked for the Main Event. Leaving here July 9th in the morning and have a flight booked for the 16th to come home. just gonna play the main but if i bust early i will hit up deep stacks at Venetian.
I will be in Vegas for the month of June and was wondering if there is any interest in sharing a condo for the month. You would have a separate bedroom and bath. It is in a very good location to get to all the tournaments. Rio ph or downtown all easy.
I don't expect you to stay for the month just if I can get the weeks filled that would work for me...
Now that I know what to expect from the main event I will make sure to get some sleep as soon as each day is over. Last year I didn't realize how long the days were. We Started at 11am and went till after 1am and that is a hell of long day when you drink till 3am and try stop the bed from spinning.
Gonna do lots of studying over the next few weeks and try to work on being patient.

Always stay at the Bellagio. Only 7-8 dollar cab ride to the rio and I love the restaurants at Bellagio .

Sorry haven't been updating. Today is the last full day. Fly out tomorrow morn.
Mostly transvestite hookers and sans wins. The mill maker although 1 hour levels was a fairly quick trny. Not as deep as I would have thought.
Only 2 real hands of note in the trny,
7.5k start, got up to 13k, utg opens, I 3b in mp w AKs, the btn shoves 22 blinds w 10's, original opener folds, I call and lose the flip. Down to 3k (15bb's), the co opens and I jam AQ in the bb, he calls w AK, rip the trny. Pretty dejecting, but I played well I think and not like a scared nit considering the buy in.
Played the $235 rio 2pm daily deep stack last night, 1139 entries, 15k start, turns into a shove fest pretty early. Ended up coming in 64 for pretty much fuck all but any plus is ok at this point I guess.
This was the high point. Up to about 230k here.
Also made 2 separate trips to Ellis island. One for the steak special and once again for the rib special.
