What buy in do you guys play for local games?
When I play with my buddies we play for $50 buy-in and chips start at 5/10/25 cents and blinds go up until someone wins it all. If we have a new guy coming in we usually set the buy in at $20 just in case he is really good and doesn't take all our money away or if he is really bad that he doesn't loose so much. I'm curious what others do for home games.

Yeah I guess it's like a mini-tournament, winner takes all. It's always been how we've done it, hahah
If you download the Pokerstars Clock app, it allows you to kinda assign how long you want a tourney to last, and it seems pretty good overall - you'll have to figure out your own chip denominations though (I suggest 25, 100, 500).
If it's a cash game you're hoping for, most casinos in this area tend to allow for 50x the BB (i.e. $100 buy in for 1/2). Most home games tend to double this amount to 100x the BB.
