  • Remember that the price for Paulsons ramped up after they discontinued making home sets last year.

For a cheaper option I actually like my Venerati textured ceramic set quite a bit... Maybe as much as my Paulsons.

$0.39 per chip US. Venerati Poker Chips at BuyPokerChips.com

The EPT uses ceramics... not sure who else.

  • Got 1,500 chips for $40, including about 50 plaques.
  • Oh the good stuff.
  • That set of Pharaohs would make a nice addition to your set Trigs.

I was really thinking about getting them but the set is exactly the same denominations I already have. If I was going to buy more I'd probably want to get some larger denominations.
  • You can never have too many chips!
  • Unless you plan on playing higher stakes than usual, I think having a deeper set of smaller denoms is better than having higher denoms. This way you could have lots of chips in play (which is more fun), and between the greens you already have and the extra 50 in this set, you're pretty well covered, even for a $1-$2 game. And you could always just buy a sleeve of blacks if you just wanted to have those.

At $.35 CDN a chip, you can't miss.

    You convinced me.
  • Excellent. Looking forward to fondling them at your next game.

Ok Matt, let's talk commission. ;D
  • Ya, about that... umm, you gotta talk to my wife for that. We do appreciate it though. Thanks.
  • ...so many chips and nowhere to put them now lol. anyone have a 1000 chip case lying around?
