Kahnwake: PLayground or Snakes?

Hi all,

Which one is better? I went to the Snakes for the first time and I really liked it, but I notice that a lot of people go to the playground. Is it open 24 hours? Food free? Since when have they been open?

Hello, there have been several clubs within the Kahnawake territory, many have come and gone. Snakes was one of the originals and is still present. They likely have a solid base of regulars they have built over the years but it is a smaller close nit venue.

Playground on the other hand really is 'Canada's premier poker destination' the Venue runs many events including several WPT stops and much more. It is massive! Playground is the only (aside from the casino) that is open 24hrs. Rake in cash games is def on the high side (snakes, playground, casino). Free food drinks etc at playground.

Playground generally has more to offer because of their size and general traffic.

Both are great in their own ways. When I'm in Montreal I always make it to snakes for their nightly trny and some cash, but the majority of my time is spent at playground. If you haven't been, you need to check it out and see for yourself.

If I correclty understand, going there at 5am or 9am, I will find some players and be able to play cash games?

Yes.....from past experiences, they always have some form of cash going at all hours (usually down to 1-2) during off hours and just about everything else the majority of the day.
