Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has T:club: T:heart:

UTG raises to 3.5 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 3.5 BB, fold, BB raises to 62.76 BB and is all-in, UTG calls 12.08 BB and is all-in, Hero ?

facing an UTG raise i call with TT on button. then BB loses his mind and pushes a 60+ BB reraise preflop into an 8 BB pot.

can we think that BB is really doing this with AA, KK, QQ or even AK? (if yes, i guess he hates money.) i'd think 77-JJ is possible. maybe AT-AQ. idk, it's just such an absurd push i'm not sure what to put him on.

at this point, there's enough in the side pot to ignore the UTG raiser so i'm not concerned about him at all. should i be omitting hands like i listed above? if yes, am i actually ahead of his range? what do you think?

  • Based on stats from 1 hand, call
  • Ok ya I call anyway without the stats
  • Not enough information on villain to make a decision. You've only invested $1.75 and can easiliy get away from it. At worst your dominated by a higher pair or flipping with AK / AQ.
After he shows, then you have more info on what he shoves in that spot. As for now, fold and take notes.
  • Fwiw this is my line with big hands in MTT early, because who does this with aces?
  • thanks for comments. results in white below:

i call. BB shows 77 and flops trips for the pot. UTG had AQo.
