Royal Cup IX - Assistance needed....

Created this thread to identify jobs to do and who's doing them.

1/ TD for the day - Of course, our own DataMn assisted in a learning capacity, Milo :)

2/ Scoring and tracking - g2

3/ Creating and making score sheets - g2

4/ Selling high hand, mvp, etc on day of - JohnnieH

5/ Assisting on setup, likely at 9am - Milo, AJ, likely some Rocks as well.

6/ Assisting with cleanup after event finishes - Milo, AJ, likely some Rocks as well.

Again if anyone can think of anything else please post here.

In for setup and cleanup with Milo... Thanks AJ...

P.S. I probably will have some Rocks assisting as well...
  • So, the young guys do all the heavy lifting, and you old farts fall asleep in time for tear-down? Sweet. :D
  • If Team HBK gets there early enough to help, we will. We'll help with the clean up if we're sober enough also.

    I did not.

I just had an idea. How about we save some paper... if we have a projector I can display the seating charts on screen. Added bonus - that way I can update for any last minute roster changes.

Strangest way to say "MAYBE" we'll help- if we get our asses out of bed and on the road at a decent hour and don't get completely hammered during the day!

Sorry Ron, I really appreciate all the help offers but I'm kinda overwhelmed..
You are more than welcome to show up early if you like but we may have too much. The main thing I would like the Captains to concentrate on is getting all their guys there on time and keeping them organized. And "reasonably" sober. ie not wandering around the neighbourhood falling down. lol, this is not downtown Ktch.
  • Jeff, what's the closest hotel? I know we don't have one next door. I will try and keep reasonably sober but no guarantees.....

Best Western at Hyw 25 and 401 is closest and best.
    Best Western Milton, Milton Ontario

My daughter in law is a manager there. :)

There is also a new (2yrs) Holiday Inn on 25 just north of the 401.
