anyone else having problems at Pacific this afternoon?

I've been unable to connect for a couple hours now. I'm just wondering if it something specific to me, or if it's happening to everyone. I can play on other sites fine...

    I swear about 2 weeks or so ago I couldn't connect to Pacific for over a day. I thought my money was gone.

    Time to earn that recent refer bonus.

    I had the same problem today and it isn't the first time. When I finally did get in, almost all the tables were empty so it is clear they had a major catastrophe. I am increasingly frustrated with Pacific. I've sent countless messages to their support email. You do get a response but little assurance that things will get better.

    Pacific poker is owned by Casino-On-Net.. they aren't going to close up shop and steal everyones money... Yes support is slow but they've always corrected any glitches encountered in the software (bankroll-wise.. they dont bother actually fixing the PROBLEM)..

    PLUS the fact this place bleeds cash (bonus $$ directly deposited into your account to play/win/lose with? AWESOME!) and the 110% flop percentage, make it a great place to play.

    Same again tonight (Nov 5) around 11pm. Got disconnected in the middle of a tourney. I was chip leader with 6 players left. All tourneys got cancelled. They gave me 1/6th of the prize pool. That doesn't seem right to me.

    Does anyone know if there are serious problems with this site? It seems to happen every night and probably corresponds with the increased load. Are they doing anything to try to fix it???

    I'm thinking about trying other sites. Which ones do you recommend for an intermediate player who likes to play 0.25/0.50 and 0.50/1.00 tables?

    honestly the interface is crap, the servers suck, they only let you play one table ... but damn the FISH are so tasty.

    if it wasn't for the good awful play i've seen there, i can't give you any other reason to play there ... and you shouldn't need any other reason

    Excellent point! I have done well at pacific over the months with the small stakes I am playing.

    But I also want a place where I can have an enjoyable game. If it was just for the money, I could find something far more profitable than 25 cent poker.

    Also to my previous note, I enjoy 20-player SNG NL tourneys and cheap MTTs. Can anyone suggest other sites to try?
